Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá finančnou krízou a jej dopadom na bankový sektor. Prvá kapitola je zameraná na všeobecný popis bankového systému. Taktiež opisuje dvojstupňový bankový systém. Charakterizuje centrálnu banku jej hlavné funkcie. V druhej kapitole charakterizuje kríza postupne sa dostáva k tomu aké typy kríz poznáme a čím boli zapríčinené .
