Abstract:
Cílem práce je popis funkcionality a problémů spojených s logováním a analýzou zpráv. Začátek práce stručně seznamuje s protokolem syslog, jeho možnostmi i nedostatky a uvádí příklady logovacích aplikací v rámci operačního systému UNIX. Primary objective of this work is description of logging, analysing messages and related problems. Beginning of work describes syslog protocol, its abilities and disadvantages and it shows logging deamons in UNIX-like systems.
