Electric car in business

Abstract:

Současným problémem měst je znečišťování ovzduší, a to především kvůli automobilové dopravě, která tvoří značnou část emisí vytvořených v dopravě celkem. Velká města, včetně Prahy tak přistupují k přísnějším opatřením, na které se firmy musí adaptovat, a to například pořízením elektromobilu do svých vozových parků. Odborné články a studie naznačují, že častými bariérami jsou počáteční náklady, limitovaný dojezd a málo rozšířená dobíjecí infrastruktura. U motivátorů je považována za nejvýznamnější image a ekologie. Cílem práce je zjistit, jaké faktory ovlivňují ochotu OSVČ a firem se sídlem v Praze přecházet z běžných osobních automobilů na elektromobily (pro firemní i soukromé účely) a co případně ovlivní jejich rozhodování. K získání dat bylo využito on-line dotazníkové šetření, které bylo zasláno e-mailem podnikatelským subjektům. Data byla vyhodnocena pomocí popisné statistiky a statistických testů, jako je Mann-Whitney test, chí-kvadrát test a Friedmanova ANOVA. V práci byly zjištěny významné motivátory a bariéry elektromobility, a také jaký je zájem o EV ze strany respondentů. Tato práce bude sloužit pro firmy působící v automobilovém průmyslu, firmám a podnikatelům, kteří uvažují o koupi elektromobilu a dále pro státní pracovníky, kteří se zabývají podporou elektromobility.

Abstract:

The current problem of cities is air pollution, mainly due to road transport, which accounts for a significant share of emissions generated in transport as a whole. Large cities, including Prague, are thus taking stricter measures to which companies must adapt, for example by purchasing an electric car in their fleets. Expert articles and studies suggest that start-up costs, limited range and little-used charging infrastructure are common barriers. For motivators, it is considered the most important image and ecology. The aim of the thesis is to find out what factors influence the willingness of self-employed persons and companies based in Prague to switch from ordinary passenger cars to electric cars (for corporate and private purposes) and what may influence their decision-making. An online questionnaire survey was used to obtain data, which was sent by e-mail to business entities. Data were evaluated using descriptive statistics and statistical tests such as the Mann-Whitney test, the chi-square test, and the Friedman ANOVA. The work identified significant motivators and barriers to electromobility, as well as the interest in EV on the part of respondents. This work will be used for companies operating in the automotive industry, companies and entrepreneurs who are considering buying an electric car, as well as for civil servants who are involved in supporting electromobility.
