Anotace:

The objective of this paper is to investigate the impact of financial sector development on economic growth in selected transition economies. The study looks into various document analysis, historical and comparative analyses, and descriptive interpretations. The study reveals that while financial liberalization can improve capital allocation and foster growth, institutional readiness and political stability are crucial for achieving success. Georgia's experience, characterized by delayed reforms and geopolitical challenges, is contrasted with Poland’s swift liberalization and Hungary’s mixed approach. The findings indicate that coherent reforms, institutional development, and strategic international engagement are essential for building resilient financial systems that support sustainable economic growth.
