Evaluation of winter wheat varieties in terms of nitrogen efficiency and resistance to fungal pathogens.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá efektivností využití dusíku odrůdami pšenice ozimé. Cílem práce je získání a vyhodnocení dat z maloparcelních polních pokusů prováděných ÚKZÚZ (Ústřední kontrolní a zkušební ústav zemědělský) pro seznam doporučených odrůd (SDO). Jsou porovnávány a vyhodnoceny různé odrůdy ozimé pšenice, které byly pěstovány ve stejných podmínkách. Na základě získaných dat jsou vytvořeny grafy, které umožňují porovnat odrůdy ozimé pšenice z hlediska efektivnosti využití dusíku. Mezi hlavní parametry porovnání patří efektivní využívání dusíku, výnos zrna (t/ha), dávka dusíku (kg/ha), obsah dusíkatých látek v zrnu (%), výnos dusíkatých látek (kg/ha) a výnos dusíku (kg/ha). Z těchto poznatků se následně vyvodí vhodná opatření k zvýšení efektivnosti využití dusíku u ozimé pšenice. Druhá část bakalářské práce je zaměřená na posuzování odolnosti vybraných odrůd pšenice ozimé vůči houbovým patogenům.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the efficiency of nitrogen utilization by winter wheat varieties. The aim of the work is to obtain and evaluate data from small-plot field experiments performed by ÚKZÚZ (Central Agricultural Inspection and Testing Institute) for the list of recommended varieties (SDO). Different varieties of winter wheat that have been grown under the same conditions are compared and evaluated. Based on the obtained data, graphs are created, which allow to compare winter wheat varieties in terms of nitrogen efficiency. The main parameters of the comparison include the efficient use of nitrogen, grain yield (t/ha), nitrogen dose (kg/ha), nitrogen content in grain (%), nitrogen yield (kg/ha) and nitrogen yield (kg/ha). From these findings, appropriate measures are subsequently derived to increase the efficiency of nitrogen utilization in winter wheat. The second part of the bachelor thesis is focused on assessing the resistance of selected winter wheat varieties to fungal pathogens.
