Origins of genomes and RNA world
Abstract:
Podle současných představ byly původní genomy tvořeny molekulami RNA. Až později byla genetická informace převedena do stabilnějších molekul DNA. Představu existence světa RNA podporuje objev ribozymů (enzymaticky aktivní RNA), jakož i všudypřítomnost a mechanismus replikace retroelementů. Abstract:
According to recent views, former genomes were made form RNA molecules. Only later was a genetic information transfered to more stable DNA molecules. The discovery of ribosomes (enzymaticly active RNA) as well as the omnipresence and the replication mechanism of retroelements supports the idea of existence of RNA world.
