Vote systems in the world: international comparison CZE and USA

Abstract:

Cílem mé bakalářské práce bylo popsat volební systémy dvou vybraných států, porovnat jejich odlišnosti a ukázat výhody či nevýhody, které přinášejí v praxi. V úvodní části popisuji volební systémy z teoretického hlediska, jejich rozdělení a součásti jako jsou propočty získaných mandátů, kvorum a hlasy voličů. V další části se věnuji porovnání volebního systému v České republice a ve Spojených státech amerických. V úvodu této části se zaměřuji na historický vývoj a posléze nejdůležitějším orgánům, do nichž probíhají volby.

Abstract:

The aim of my final work was to describe the vote systems of two chosen states, to compare thein differences and to show their advantages and disadvantages in the practical use. In the lead-in part I describe the vote systems from the theoretical point of view, their division and some parts as for example: calculations of received mandates, quorum and votes of voters. In the next part I concentrate on comparison of the vote system in the Czech Republic and the USA. At the beginning of this chafter I focus on the historical development and then on the most important state institutions into which the election are held.
