Anotácia:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je poukázat na rozmanitost pohlavních systémů původních indiánských kmenů. Zároveň práce zdůrazňuje odlišnosti mezi pohlavními a společenskými systémy tradičních indiánských kmenů a západních kultur a tím pádem popírá primitivnost původních obyvatel Ameriky.

Abstract:

The aim of this Bachelor’s thesis is to point out the diversity of gender systems of Native American tribes. Furthermore, the thesis highlights differences between gender and social stratifications of Native American societies and Western cultures and therefore denies the Native American societies’ primitiveness.
