Evaluation and measurement of performance of tax administration: The administrative costs of taxation

Abstract:

A subject of this thesis "Evaluation and performance measurement of tax administration: the administrative costs of taxation" is to evaluate a rate of state costs in tax collection as a factor in an evaluation of a performance of a tax administration. The first section describes and evaluates the theoretical basis of researched issues - taxes and tax administration in general and the tax administration in the Slovak Republic also. The second part characterizes the goal, methods and procedures of solving the topic of dissertation, as well as the methodology of measuring administrative costs of tax administration in the Slovak Republic. The third section analyzes the administrative costs of tax administration in the Slovak Republic. In the fourth part we suggest possibilities to increase efficiency of tax administration in Slovakia.

Abstract:

Predmetom dizertačnej práce „Hodnotenie a meranie výkonnosti daňovej správy: administratívne náklady zdanenia“ je zhodnotenie miery nákladov štátu pri výbere daní ako jedného z faktorov hodnotenia výkonnosti daňovej správy. Prvá časť popisuje a hodnotí teoretické východiská skúmanej problematiky - dane a daňovú správu vo všeobecnosti ako aj daňovú správu Slovenskej republiky. V druhej časti sú charakterizované cieľ, metódy a postup riešenia dizertačnej práce, metodika merania administratívnych nákladov daňovej správy v Slovenskej republike. Tretia časť analyzuje administratívne náklady daňovej správy v Slovenskej republike. V štvrtej časti predkladáme návrhy a možnosti zvyšovania výkonnosti daňovej správy v SR.
