The Experience with Autistic Person

Abstract:

ABSTRACT ŠTĚPÁNKOVÁ, Roberta: Experience with a person with autism. Phenomenological study of experience with contact and contact reflections. Masaryk University. Faculty of Social Studies; Department of Psychology. Tutor: Prof. PhDr. Ivo Čermák, CSc., Brno 2011, 123 p. The aim of this work is to explore the experience of the autor with contact and the use of the method of contact reflections within the encounter with adult persons with autism. The purpose of engaging the method of contact reflections, which comes from Pretherapy (Prouty, 1976), besides an intention to facilitate contact of person with autism and the author herself, is also to acquaint the reader with this development of ´person-centered approach´. The study is focused on the experience of the author with the contact and engaging contact reflections during intensive personal encounters with people with autism, which is self-reflectively created in the narrative through diaries. Consequently, the experience is synthetized and analyzed through heuristic phenomenological methodology according to Moustakas (1990). In the end the author points to the main components of the experience (for example: Internal change, Contact reflections as a medium of contact, Effort for the own manner of approach,...), that are presented in the depiction of the essence of the experience and in the creative synthesis. The author uses perspective of the gestalt therapy to elucidate the principal themes.

ABSTRAKT ŠTĚPÁNKOVÁ, Roberta: Skúsenosť s človekom s autizmom. Fenomenologická štúdia skúsenosti s kontaktom a kontaktnými reflexiami. Masarykova Univerzita. Fakulta Sociálních Studí; Katedra psychologie, Obor psychologie. Vedúci práce: Prof. PhDr. Ivo Čermák, CSc., Brno 2011, 123 s. Cieľom autorky práce je preskúmanie vlastnej skúsenosti s kontaktom a s použitím metódy kontaktných reflexií v stretnutí s dospelými ľuďmi s autizmom. Účelom zapojenia metódy kontaktného reflektovania, ktorá má pôvod v Preterapii (Prouty, 1976), je okrem zámeru facilitovať kontakt človeka s autizmom a výskumníčky, tiež oboznámiť čitateľa s týmto rozvinutím ´na človeka zameraného prístupu´. Štúdia sa zameriava na autorkinu vlastnú skúsenosť s kontaktom a zapájaním kontaktných reflexií počas intenzívnych osobných stretnutí s ľuďmi s autizmom, ktorá je sebareflexívne vytváraná v rozprávaní formou denníkov autorky. Následne je táto skúsenosť syntetizovaná a analyzovaná prostredníctvom heuristickej fenomenologickej metodológie podľa Clarka Moustakasa (1990). V závere autorka poukazuje na hlavné komponenty skúsenosti (napr. Vnútorná zmena, Kontaktné reflexie ako spôsob kontaktu, Snaha o vlastný spôsob pristupovania,..), ktoré prezentuje v zobrazení podstaty skúsenosti a v kreatívnej syntéze. K hlavným témam pristupuje autorka cez perspektívu gestaltterapie.
