The methods for the face detection and the face identification in a raster image

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá tématikou detekce a identifikace obličeje v rastrových obrazech. Jsou v ní popsány a blíže představeny nejčastější algoritmy pro detekci i identifikaci obličeje v obraze, zejména Haarovy příznaky a detekce podle barev obličeje. Dále je zde představena identifikace obličeje za pomoci neuronových sítí a dalších algoritmů jim podobných. Představené metody pro detekci i identifikaci obličeje jsou mezi sebou vzájemně porovnány na základě výpočetních nároků a jejich přesnosti a spolehlivosti. Metody jsou dále implementovány do testovací aplikace, kde jsou jednotlivé metody porovnány. Aplikace je realizována programovacími jazyky C# a C++, kde C# s grafickým subsystémem WPF tvoří grafické uživatelské rozhraní. Jádro aplikace je pro rychlost a kompatibilitu zpracováno v C++.

Abstract:

The master thesis deals with face recognition and face identification in a raster images. There are described and presented closer to the most common algorithms to detect and identify faces in the picture, especially Haar-like features and detection by color face. It is presented here as well as face identification using neural networks. Presented methods for face recognition are compared with each other on the basis of computing requirements, accuracy and reliability. The methods are implemented to test application which compares obtained results with results OpenSource library OpenCV. The implementation is realized by programming languages C# and C++. C# with WPF graphical subsystem create graphical user interface and core application is created in C++ for speed and compatibility.
