The Lisbon Treaty - Opportunity or threat for Czech companies?

Abstract:

This Diploma Thesis analyses one of the most important documents of modern time which bears the name Treaty of Lisbon from the 13th of December of 2007 and its impact on the Czech business. The aim of this paper is to assess the changes that the Treaty has brought and identify, whether the Treaty is an opportunity or causes threat to the businesses in the Czech Republic. Special paragraphs talk about the problematics of lobbying. Apart from that the work brings detailed explanation of process of defending Czech interests before and after adopting the Lisbon treaty. Special attention is paid to analysis of the particular case study connected to lobbying problematics.
