Socio-psychological Aspects of Behaviour of Retailers of Pharmaceutical Products

Abstract:

Diplomová práce hodnotí chování a metody práce zaměstnanců farmaceutických firem ve vztahu k jejich zákazníkům v prostředí českého zdravotnictví. Popisuje specifika tohoto sociálního prostředí a zabývá se psychologickými aspekty, které ovlivňují obě strany prodeje. Práce popisuje způsoby a možnosti, které používají obchodníci ke zvýšení prodeje svých produktů, zamýšlí se nad jejich formou, vlivem reklamy a ostatními konsekvencemi v tomto komplikovaném a eticky citlivém prostředí. Práce porovnává sféru farmaceutických společností s prostředím medicíny v jejich hlavních psycho - sociálních rysech a vyvozuje z toho obecné závěry.

Abstract:

This graduate work evaluates pharmaceutical representatives’ attitudes and work methods in relation to their customers in the environment of the Czech Health Care System. It tries to describe specificities of this unique social environment and to discover psychological aspects which affect all involved sides of the sale (patients, doctors, representatives, pharmaceutical companies, insurance companies, politicians). It aims to map various ways and possibilities used by representatives to increase their sales-rates in connection to the form of contact with patients, doctors and chemists, advertisement influence and other determinants. It compares the pharmaceutical branch with medical-branch and derives general results from particular field information.
