Naissance of a carpet-knight. The grand tour of count Moritz Fries
Abstract:
Diplomová práce rekonstruuje na základě rozboru rozsáhlé osobní korespondence rakouského hraběte Mořice Friese jeho kavalírskou studijní cestu za univerzitním vzděláním v Lipsku, kterou absolvoval v letech 1794–1797. Důraz je kladen hlavně na samotné vzdělávání, každodenní život studenta, jeho osobnostní vývoj a cesty, které během univerzitních studií podnikal.
Abstract:
The thesis analyses personal correspondence of the Austrian count Moritz Fries during his grand tour for university education in Leipzig, where he graduated in 1794–1797. Emphasis is placed mainly on the studies themelves, the everyday life of a student, his personality development and his journeys in the course of this period.
