The Approaches and Attitudes of Teachers towards the Use of Modern Technologies in Education

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na postoje pedagogů středních škol k využívání moderních technologií ve vzdělávání. Cílem výzkumného šetření je zjistit přístupy a postoje pedagogů k moderním technologiím a k jejich přínosu ve vzdělávání. V teoretické části práce jsou vymezeny základní pojmy vztahující se ke vzdělávání, teoretické poznatky k informačním a komunikačním technologiím, jejich funkcím ve vzdělávacím procesu a jejich vlivům na kvalitu vzdělávání i na samotné pedagogy. Praktická část se věnuje analýze výsledků kvantitativního výzkumu probíhajícího na pěti středních školách ve Zlínském kraji.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on the attitudes of secondary school teachers regarding modern technologies in education. The aim of the research is to discovers the approaches and attitudes of teachers regarding modern technologies and their contribution to education. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the basic concepts related to education, theoretical knowledge about information and communication technologies, their functions in the educational process and their impact on the quality of education and the teachers themselves. The practical part is dedicated to the analysis of the results of quantitative research organized at five secondary schools in the Zlín region.
