Genetic resourses of farm animals in the Czech republic

Abstract:

Cílem práce je charakteristika genetických zdrojů a důvody, které vedly k jejich ochraně, jelikož genetické zdroje jsou důležitou součástí zemědělství, jelikož uchovávají primitivní geny původních plemen. V práci se zaměřím se na metody uchování genetických zdrojů, uvedu všechny druhy a popíšu jednotlivá plemena genetických zdrojů hospodářských zvířat v České republice. U každého plemene uvedu početní vývoj během posledních let. Jelikož se jedná o ohrožená zvířata a jejich produkce není ekonomicky tolik výhodná, je jejich chov podpořen dotacemi. Zmíním se tedy o maximální možné výši dotace, kterou poskytuje Ministerstvo zemědělství. V druhé experimentální části bakalářské práce se zaměřím na Farmu Pod lesem, která se zabývá chovem přeštického strakatého prasete, které je zařazeno do genetických zdrojů České republiky.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis is the characterization of genetic resources and the reasons that led to their protection, since genetic resources are an important part of agriculture, because they preserve primitive genes of indigenous breeds. In this work I will focus on methods of genetic resources conservation, I will present all species and describe individual breeds of genetic resources of farm animals in the Czech Republic. For each breed I will show the numerical development over the last years. Since they are endangered animals and their production is not economically beneficial, their breeding is supported by subsidies. I shall therefore mention the maximum possible amount of the subsidy provided by the Ministry of Agriculture.In the second experimental part of my bachelor thesis I will focus on Farm Pod lesem, which deals with the breeding of the Přeštické černostrakaté pig, which is included in the genetic resources of the Czech Republic.
