The usage of technical analysis for trading futures contracts

Abstract:

Cílem příspěvku je analýza procesů při stavbě obchodního systému, jeho testování a následné vyhodnocení výsledků obchodování futures kontraktů. Pro stavbu systému jsou klíčové především výsledky technické analýzy, principy money managementu a poznatky psychologie obchodování. Výsledná strategie pro obchodování futures kontraktů, která zahrnuje tyto teoretické i praktické přístupy, je aplikována na trh e-mini Nasdaq, kde je následně testována a vyhodnocena.

Abstract:

The goal of the thesis is the analysis of building processes of trading system, its testing and consecutive evaluation of trading futures contracts. Thera are some crucial results of technical analysis, money management principles and psychological aspects in building trading systems. Presented strategy for trading futures contracts, which includes all these theoretical and practical accesses, is aplicated to e-mini futures market Nasdaq (NQ), where the system is consecutively tested and evaluated.
