An Assistant Pedagogue and Their Importance in the Inclusive Process

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou významu a role asistenta pedagoga v procesu inkluzivního vzdělávání. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a část praktickou. Teoretická část je členěna do tří kapitol, ve kterých se postupně věnujeme inkluzi v celospolečenském kontextu, jejím hlavním myšlenkám a principům, dále inkluzi ve školním prostředí, jejím jednotlivým komponentům a zejména pak asistentovi pedagoga jakožto neoddělitelné součásti procesu inkluzivního vzdělávání. Obsahem empirické části je výzkum, jehož cílem je porozumět významu asistentů pedagoga v procesu inkluzivního vzdělávání. S ohledem na cíl výzkumu byl zvolen kvalitativní přístup a jako metoda sběru dat polostrukturovaný rozhovor. Výzkumný soubor představuje šest asistentů pedagoga působících v základních školách ve Zlínském kraji. Součástí praktické části je rovněž analýza získaných dat, jejich vyhodnocení, následná interpretace a závěrečné shrnutí.

Abstract:

The diploma theses covers special needs teacher´s value and role in integration process. The theses is devided into a theoretical part and practical part. The theoretical part is devided into three chapters, in which we gradually focus on integration as society-wide context, its main ideas and principles, integration in the school environment, its individual components and mainly special needs teacher as an integral part of the process of integration education. The content of the empirical part is research, which aims to understand the importance of special needs teacher in the process of intergation education. With regard to the goal of the research, a qualitative approach was chosen and a semi-structured interview as a method of data collection. The research consists of six special needs teachers working in primary schools in the Zlín Region. The practical part also includes the analysis of the obtained data, their evaluation, subsequent interpretation and final summary.
