Logistics of a transport company with different means of transport

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá logistikou dopravního podniku s rozdílnými dopravními prostředky a s tím spojeným návrhem a optimalizací dvou nejčastějších tras daného podniku. Popisuje pojmy a náležitosti, které spadají do struktury distribučního řetězce. Dále povinnosti, které musí řidiči dodržet. Následně popisuje a poukazuje na využití databank pro dispečerská pracoviště. Dalším krokem je charakterizování daného podniku a jeho vozového parku, na které navazuje analýza řídících procesů a následně je aplikovaná optimalizace, která je prováděna za pomoci Littlovy metody, po níž je znázornění v Ganttově diagramu. První trasa je aplikovaná v nákladní mezinárodní dopravě a druhá trasa je optimalizovaná pro autobusovou vnitrostátní dopravu. Cílem práce je optimalizovat trasy a poukázat na to, jak daný podnik může snížit náklady při optimalizaci trasy. Závěrem práce je zhodnocení daného návrhu optimalizace.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the logistics of the transport company with different means of transport and with the related design and optimization of the two most frequent routes of the given enterprise. Describes concepts and elements that fall within the structure of the distribution chain. Furthermore, the obligations that must be respected by drivers. It then describes and points out the use of databases for dispatcher workplaces. The next step is the characterization of the company and its fleet, followed by the analysis of the management processes, and then is applied optimization, which is carried out using the Littel method, as shown in the Gantt diagram. The first route is applied in freight international transport and the second route is optimized for domestic bus services. The aim of the work is to optimize the routes and to point out how the company can reduce costs while optimizing the route. The conclusion of the thesis is the evaluation of the given optimization design.
