Masculinity in transition. New prototype of woman.

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá tématem maskulinity, která se objevuje u prototypu ženy zvané virago. Tento typ můžeme charakterizovat jako ženu s převažujícími mužskými rysy. Prezentovaná kolekce je příkladem tranzice maskulinních prvků do dámských oděvů. Nadcházející tendence svědčí o stále častějších vzájemných proměnách genderových znaků v módě a tím i nepřetržité změny v jejich zpracování a chápání obou pohlaví. Začínají se stírat jasné rozdíly mezi dámskou a pánskou módou. V současné době tak čelíme jejich propojení.

Abstract:

This graduation theses goes about the theme of the masculinity which appears in the prototype of the woman called virago. We can distinguish this type of woman as a person with predominant masculine features. The presented collection is the real example of the transition of these qualities and elements into the female person and so into the essence of the garments. There is very actual fashion tendence which testifies the masculine features in woman´s version.
