Cieľom záverečnej práce je priblížiť dopravný problém a vysvetliť jeho riešenie. Pre zoznámenie sa s problémom najskôr objasníme matematickú formuláciu a štruktúru problému. Veľmi dôležité budú pre nás pojmy ako báza, bázická premenná a prípustné riešenie. Objasníme primárnu simplexovú metódou na základe ktorej budeme dopravný problém riešiť.
