Chatbot implementation in C# and Azure Bot Service

Anotácia:

Tato práce představuje úvod do tématu chatbotů a jejich teoretického zázemí. Hlavním cílem je implementace chatbota pro potřeby Masarykovy univerzity s využitím služby Azure Bot Service a souvisejících nástrojů. Dále je uveden vhled do dalších nástrojů Azure Bot Service. Práce začíná představením teoretických pojmů a informací o tématu chatbot. Následuje část věnovaná službě Azure Bot Service. Stěžejní částí je popis vývoje bota a jeho architektury spolu s ukázkami kódu a názorným průvodcem. Závěrečná část hodnotí proces implementace a návrhy dalších kroků. Výsledkem je rozšiřitelný chatbot odpovídající na často kladené otázky nasazený v Azure a popis jeho tvorby.

Abstract:

This thesis represents an introduction to the topic of chatbots and their theoretical background. The main aim is to implement a chatbot for the needs of Masaryk University with the use of Azure Bot Service and associated tools. Furthermore, an insight into other Azure Bot Service tools is provided. The work begins with presenting theoretical concepts and information about the topic of chatbot. Follows a section dedicated to Azure Bot Service. The core part is the description of the bot development and its architecture along with code samples and an illustrative guide. The concluding part evaluates the process of implementation and suggestions for future steps. The result is an extensible chatbot answering frequently asked questions deployed in Azure and a description of its creation.
