Migration Flows in Germany

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá migračními toky v Německu jakožto jedním z jevů dopadu globalizace. Práce začíná obecným vymezením pojmu migrace a poté rozebírá jednotlivé ekonomické teorie, které jdou ruku v ruce s dalšími částmi práce. V následující kapitole je rozebrána historie migrací od poválečných let až do nové éry migrační politiky, na kterou navazuje kapitola zaměřená na legislativu. Práce věnuje pozornost roku 2005 kdy vstoupil v účinnost nový imigrační zákon, jehož součásti je zákon o pobytu, zaměstnaní a integraci a roku 2011 kdy Německo zpřístupnilo pracovní trh zemím, které vstoupily do EU roku 2004, tedy i České republice. Cílem analytické práce bylo znázornit pomocí kartodiagramů vliv změněné legislativy na migrační toky do Německa. Analýza vytvořeného kartografického výstupu práce vysvětluje pomocí teorie duálního trhu a kumulativních příčin strukturální změny obyvatelstva v rámci jednotlivých regionů, včetně jejich národnostního složení. Závěr práce tvoří hodnocení nejvýznamnějších migračních toků a odůvodnění změn mobility na základě ekonomických teorií.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis deals with migration flows in Germany as one of the phenomena of the impact of globalization. My thesis starts with general definition of migration and than concerns on different economic theories that go hand in hand with other parts of the work. The following chapter pays attention to history of migration from the postwar years to a new era of migration policy and next chapter is about legislation. Thesis pays attention to year 2005 when it entered into force the new immigration law, including the law of residence, employment and integration. The work pays attention also to year 2011 when Germany made available the labour market of the countries that joined the EU in 2004, including the Czech Republic. The aim was to illustrate the analytical work through cartodiagrams impact of changed legislation on migration flows to Germany. Analysis of formed cartographic work explains the theory of dual market and cumulative causes structural changes in the population in the variol regions, including their ethnic composition. The conclusion is the most important assessment of migration flows and the rationale for the amendments of mobility based on economic theories.
