Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje Pobaltí jakožto transnacionálnímu regionu. Dle definice transnacionálního regionu, jsou hledány společné jednotící prvky, a zároveň odlišné aspekty regionu. Mezi společné prvky je zařazena například historie, kultura, a regionální problémy, naopak odlišnými aspekty jsou jazyk, nebo etnické menšiny. Část práce se také zaměřuje na spolupráci v rámci regionu i s ostatními aktéry, jako jsou jiné státy nebo mezinárodní organizace. V práci je částmi použita komparace s jinými transnacionálními regiony, především pro dokázání přítomnosti transnacionalismu v regionu Pobaltí.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on the Baltic Sea Region as a transnational region. According to the definition of a transnational region, common unifying elements are sought, as well as different aspects of the region. The common elements include, for example, history, culture, and regional problems, while the different aspects are language or ethnic minorities. Part of the work also focuses on cooperation within the region and with other actors such as other states or international organizations. In parts of the thesis a comparison with other transnational regions is used, especially to prove the presence of transnationalism in the Baltic Sea Region.
