Drug-related criminal activity in the Vyškov district

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá drogovou kriminalitou a jejím odhalováním na teritoriálním území okresu Vyškov v období od roku 2015 do roku 2022. Teoretická část bakalářské práce se zabývá základními pojmy, historií, vývojem a odhalováním primární drogové kriminality, výrobou a distribucí tradičních návykových látek pro tento region i jejich užívání v dopravě. Práce mapuje drogovou scénu na území okresu Vyškov a je doplněna statistickými údaji z policejních databází, a to před založením týmu TOXI v rámci Služby kriminální policie a vyšetřování při územním odboru Vyškov a v průběhu jeho fungování. Součástí práce je popsání aktivity policejního orgánu jak na odhalování, tak i preventivní činnosti na úseku drogové kriminality. V práci je mimo využití statistických údajů také kvalitativní výzkum, kdy sběr dat proběhl formou rozhovorů s deseti respondenty z řad policistů a osob kriminálně závadových a opírá se o statistiky Národní protidrogové centrály. Cílem výzkumu bakalářské práce je zjistit nejrozšířenější drogy v okrese Vyškov, nejrozšířenější drogovou kriminalitu na teritoriu okresu a zkušenosti respondentů s preventivními protidrogovými akcemi pořádanými policií na území okresu. Praktická část práce obsahuje doporučení pro praxi v odhalování drogové kriminality a její prevence.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with drug crime and its detection in the territory of the Vyškov district in the period from 2015 to 2022. The theoretical part of the bachelor's thesis deals with the basic concepts, history, development and detection of primary drug crime, production and distribution of traditional addictive substances for this region and their use in transport. The work maps the drug scene in the territory of the Vyškov district and is supplemented with statistical data from police databases, before the establishment of the TOXI team within the Criminal Police and Investigation Service at the Vyškov territorial department and during its operation. Part of the thesis is a description of the activities of the police body both in detection and prevention in the area of drug crime. In addition to the use of statistical data, the work also includes qualitative research, where data collection took place in the form of interviews with ten respondents from the ranks of police officers and persons with criminal offenses and is based on the statistics of the National Anti-Drug Headquarters. The aim of the research of the bachelor's thesis is to find out the most widespread drugs in the Vyškov district, the most widespread drug crime in the territory of the district and the respondents' experience with preventive anti-drug actions organized by the police in the territory of the district. The practical part of the work contains recommendations for practice in drug crime detection and prevention.
