Práce se věnuje problematice voleb, na kterou pohlíží antropologickým způsobem a aplikuje na ni ritualizační perspektivu. Teoretická část se soustředí na koncept politického rituálu, hledá jeho zdroje, zabývá se tématem identity a snaží se osvětlit, jakým způsobem politický rituál působí na lidi a jak je pomocí rituálu konstruována politická realita.
