Abstract:
The bachelor thesis is focused on the theme of the institution of Kunsthalle and its position within the slovak cultural scene. The aim is to examine actual situation in Slovakia, where the three Kunsthalles are coming into existence in a short time: in Bratislava, Košice and Žilina. The thesis offers their complex image as well as similarities or differences in their functioning.
Abstract:
Práca sa zaoberá témou inštitúcie Kunsthalle a jej pozície v prostredí slovenskej kultúrnej scény. Jej hlavným cieľom je poukázať na súčasnú situáciu na Slovensku, kedy v krátkom období vznikajú tri Kunsthalle: v Bratislave, Košiciach a Žiline. Práca ponúka ich komplexný obraz ako aj predstavenie spoločných čŕt a rozdielov v ich fungovaní.
