Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na problematiku odlehčovacích služeb pro seniory s demencí se zvláštním důrazem na ambulantní formu péče v regionu ORP Jeseník. Teoretická část práce vymezuje pojem odlehčovacích služeb, jejich legislativní ukotvení, cílové skupiny a význam v kontextu stárnutí populace a podpory neformálních pečujících. Dále se věnuje specifikům života seniorů s demencí, potřebám neformálních pečujících a jejich postavení v systému sociální politiky. Práce propojuje teoretická východiska sociální práce, zejména humanistický a existenciální přístup, s praktickými metodami práce se seniory a jejich rodinami. Praktická část obsahuje analýzu potřebnosti zřízení ambulantní odlehčovací služby v ORP Jeseník, vycházející z demografických dat, dostupnosti služeb a empirického šetření mezi pečujícími osobami. Výstupem práce je projektový návrh na rozšíření stávající Odlehčovací služby sv. Zdislavy provozované Charitou Jeseník o ambulantní formu, který reaguje na dlouhodobě neuspokojenou potřebu podpory pečujících a posílení komunitní péče v regionu.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the issue of respite services for seniors with dementia, with a particular emphasis on outpatient care in the Jeseník municipal district. The theoretical section of the thesis defines the concept of respite services, their legal framework, target groups, and significance in the context of an aging population and support for informal caregivers. It further addresses the specificities of the lives of seniors with dementia, the needs of informal caregivers, and their position within the social policy system. The thesis integrates theoretical foundations of social workparticularly the humanistic and existential approacheswith practical methods for working with seniors and their families. The practical section includes an analysis of the need for establishing an outpatient respite care service in the Jeseník Municipal District, based on demographic data, service availability, and an empirical survey among caregivers. The outcome of the thesis is a project proposal to expand the existing St. Zdislava Respite Care Service operated by Caritas Jeseník to include an outpatient form, which addresses the long-unmet need for support for caregivers and the strengthening of community care in the region.
