Options of using virtualization in Kentico Software
Abstract:
Práce krátce popisuje dostupné virtualizační metody a jejich typické využití. Podrobněji se věnuje popisu technologie Hyper-V a nástroje SCVMM ve verzi 2008. Další část práce je věnována analýze využití serverů ve firmě Kentico Software a návrhu možností jejich konsolidace do virtuálního prostředí. ­
Abstract:
The thesis covers the topic of available methods of virtualization and examples of typical usage. It describes in more detail the technology of Hyper-V and the 2008 version of SCVMM tool. The next part of the thesis is dedicated to a server performance analysis of Kentico Software company and options of server consolidation through virtualization.
