Tato práce se zabývá konceptem imerze ve videohrách a analyzuje možné implikace, které mohou videohry mít pro kinematografii. Imerze je zkoumána jakožto kvantifikovatelná zkušenost prostřednictvím hry ?Heavy Rain? (2010 PS3 titul).
