Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na vývoj a funkčnost skladebných častí regionálních prvků územního systému ekologické stavility, biocentra a biokoridoru u Čehovic, který byl založen v období 1999 - 2002. Za hlavní cíl se klade objasnění vývoje a zhodnocení funkčnosti biocentra od jeho založení až po současnost. Práce obsahuje hlavní charakteristiku území, vývoj a součaný stav.
