Comparison of security policies of Armenia and Azerbaijan from 1991 up to the present

Abstract:

Cílem práce je vymezení konceptu bezpečnostní politiky a jeho aplikace na Arménii a Ázerbájdžán. V první řádě charakterizujeme koncept bezpečnostní politiky, abysme mohli určit jestli jsou bezpečnostní politiky výše zminěných států v souladu s hlavními charakteristickými rysy států vestfálského typu. To poslouží k tomu, abychom byli schopni určit nejdůležitější aspekty bezpečnostních politik Arménie a Ázerbájdžánu. Následně bude provedena komparace zjištěných prvků u obou států, s tím, že důraz bude kláden na odhalení podobností a rozdílů v bezpečnostních politikách těchto států. Komparace bude prováděna od roku 1991, tj. od získání samostatnosti po rozpadu Sovětského svazu, až po současnou dobu. Práce bude čerpat z primárních a sekundárních zdrojů anlglické provenience a bude sloužit k obohacení českého povědomí o tomto tématu.

Abstract:

The goal of my work is to describe the concept of security policy and apply it on Armenia and Arerbaijan. First of all we are going to characterize the concept of security policy so that we can determine whether are securiti policies of above mentioned states in accordance with main characteristics of states of Westphalien types. This is going to be used to determine the main elements of security policies of Armenia and Azerbaijan. Following is going to be the comparison of the established facts gained from security policies of both states with aim to find similarities and differences between them. The comparison is going to follow time period beginning in year 1991 which means gaining of independance after the collapse of the Soviet Union until present day.
