Analysis of income and expenditures of households in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na analýzu příjmů a výdajů domácností v České republice v uplynulých dvaceti létech. Spotřeba domácností je důležitou součástí HDP dané země a má významný vliv na její ekonomickou situaci. Velikost příjmů podmiňuje naší spotřebu a určuje životní úroveň obyvatelstva. Teoretická část této práce popisuje příjmy a výdaje domácností z hlediska ekonomické teorie. Je vysvětleno základní členění spotřeby a příjmů, pojednáno o pojmu životní úroveň. Je zde popsán proces získávání dat od domácností, především pomocí Statistiky rodinných účtů, pro další analýzy. Je nastíněn způsob analyzování získaných dat pomocí indexní analýzy a časových řad. Praktická část nejprve pojednává o vývoji příjmů domácností a jejich struktuře v uplynulých dvaceti létech, jsou popsány rozdíly v příjmech mužů a žen, rozdíly z hlediska odvětvového a demografického, je popsána příjmová diferenciace. Dále se dozvídáme o důležitých historických okamžicích, které měly vliv na spotřebu obyvatelstva, je pojednáno o vývoji struktury spotřeby za sledované období se zdůrazněním nejdůležitějších změn. V závěru se dozvídáme o struktuře spotřeby domácností v závislosti na osobě stojící v jejím čele. Práci lze využít pro další detailnější analýzy problémů, které zde byly uvedeny.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on the analysis of income and expenditure of households in the Czech Republic in the past twenty years. Household consumption is an important part of the country's GDP and has a significant impact on its economic situation. Size of income determines consumption and determines our standard of living. The theoretical part of this thesis describes revenues and expenditures in terms of economic theory. Explain the basic structure of consumption and income, discussed the standard of living. There is described a process of obtaining data from households, mainly through Household Budget Survey for further analysis. It outlines a way of analyzing the data obtained using the index and time series analysis. The practical part of the first deals with the development of household incomes and their structure in the past twenty years, explains the differences in income between men and women, differences in terms of sectoral and demographic, income differentiation is described. Furthermore, we learn about important historical moments that have influenced the consumption of the population, we discuss the structure of consumption during the reporting period, highlighting the most important changes. In conclusion, we learn about the structure of household consumption, depending on the person standing in her forehead. The work can be used for further detailed analysis of the problems which have been mentioned.
