Abstract:
Tato diplomová práce se zabývá ranou historií výuky anglického jazyka na českých středních školách a materiály, které se při její výuce používaly na začátku minulého století. Cílem práce je pozorovat, jak je v těchto materiálech prezentováno čtení ve vztahu k současnému pohledu na výuku čtení v cizím jazyce a ve srovnání se současnými učebnicemi angličtiny.
Abstract:
The present thesis provides an overview of the early history of English language teaching in the Czech secondary school environment. The aim of the thesis is to observe how reading was presented in the early English course books written for the Czech learners in relation to the contemporary research of second language reading and in comparison with reading lessons in contemporary course books.
