Therapeutic spectacles in the past and nowadays

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je shrnutí a přehled brýlí určených pro léčbu a korekci zvláštních očních vad a onemocnění, které nejdou nebo dočasně nemohou být léčeny chirurgicky. Do skupiny léčebných brýlí nepatří brýle pro korekci refrakčních vad, i když se mezi tyto speciální brýle občas zařazují. Z dostupné literatury je v 8 kapitolách sestaven přehled těchto léčebných brýlí, jejich použití dříve a dnes, nedostatky a jejich vývoj postupem času. Součástí této práce je i obrazová příloha, která slouží pro lepší vizuální představu a pochopení optických principů.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is a summary and overview of glasses for special treatment and correction of eye defects and diseases that aren‘t treated or can‘t be temporarily treated surgically. We can‘t include in this group glasses for correction of refractive defects, although it is sometimes classified there. From the available literature there is made a summary of these therapeutic glasses in 8 chapters, their historical and present usage, their weaknesses and development over time. Part of this work is also a hooked illustration that provides better visual representation and understanding of the optical principles.
