Tato práce má systematicky analyzovat problematiku daňové harmonizace v členských státech Evropské unie. Vedle uvedení do problematiky je cílem zejména analýza činností institucí Evropské unie v rámci této agendy, zachytit postoje jednotlivých států v rámci Rady EU a činnosti národních institucí těchto čl. států, výsledky a dopady v jednotlivých zemích EU.
