Social art between wars in Brno - Utterances of social realism in contemporaneous drawing and graphics
Abstract:
Tato práce se zabývá sociálním uměním, které se u nás projevovalo po první světové válce. Zařazuje jej do soudobého celoevropského kontextu poválečných realismů, zabývá se genezí, inspiračními zdroji a vymezuje ikonografické okruhy. V centru pozornosti stojí brněnští umělci tvořící v duchu sociálního civilismu.
Abstract:
This thesis is focused on social art, which was formed after World War I. The thesis aims to include social art in contemporary Europian context of postwar realistic tendences, it deals with sources of inspiration and it specifies iconographic area. The focus of attention is aimed on artists adherented to Brno, which created in sphere of social civilism.
