Tato bakalářská práce seznamuje čtenáře s významem veřejného majetku a veřejné zeleně. Zároveň se také zaměřuje na pasportizace, která je pro fungování obcí nezbytná. V praktické části se čtenář seznámí s tím, jak funguje údržba městské zeleně v obcích napříč republikou. Zároveň se zde zaměřuji na problém ve městě Rakovník, co se správy údržby městské zeleně týče.
