Public administration reform in the Czech republic after 1989

Abstract:

Předkládaná bakalářská práce se zabývá vývojem a reformou veřejné správy v České republice po roce 1989. Tvoří ji úvod, jednotlivé kapitoly členěné na podkapitoly a závěr. Úvod přináší vhled do problematiky, uvádí cíl a metodu práce a zmiňuje použité zdroje. V první kapitole je stručně popsána historie veřejné správy na našem území od cca poloviny 19. století do současnosti. Druhá kapitola se zabývá výkladem pojmů demokratizace a transformace veřejné správy, třetí kapitola pojednává o nejdůležitějších pojmech a principech veřejné správy. Čtvrtá kapitola popisuje průběh a fáze reformy veřejné správy v České republice po roce 1989. Následuje zhodnocení reformy a závěr, v němž se autor zabývá současnou koncepcí rozvoje veřejné správy s výhledem do roku 2030.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the development and reform of public administration in the Czech Republic after the year 1989. It consists of an introduction, individual chapters divided into subchapters, and a conclusion. The introduction provides an overview of the issue, states the aim and the method of the work, and mentions the used sources. The first chapter briefly describes the history of public administration in our territory from the mid-19th century to the present. The second chapter deals with the interpretation of the concepts of democratization and transformation of public administration, the third chapter discusses the most important terms and principles of public administration. The fourth chapter describes the progression and phases of public administration reform in the Czech Republic after the year 1989. This is followed by an evaluation of the reform and a conclusion in which the author addresses the current conception of public administration development with a view to the year 2030.
