The cellular and molecular mechanisms of polar auxin transport in Arabidopsis thaliana

The cellular and molecular mechanisms of polar auxin transport in Arabidopsis thaliana
Abstract:
Vývoj rostlin úzce závisí na vnitrobuněčném transportu a distribuci auxinu. Rostlinný hormon auxin (indol-3-octová kyselina) je transportován z buňky do buňky za spoluúčasti auxinových vnašečů [AUXIN-RESISTANT1 (AUX1)] a vynašečů [PIN-FORMED (PIN)], jejichž polární vnitrobuněčná lokalizace určuje směr auxinového toku. Značné úsilí bylo věnováno studiu mechanizmu polárního transportu auxinu, nicméně …more
Abstract:
The development of plant body depends on the intercellular transport and distribution of the plant signalling molecule, phytohormone auxin. Auxin (indole-3-acetic acid) is directionally transported from cell to cell by the action of specific auxin influx [AUXIN-RESISTANT1 (AUX1)] and efflux [PIN-FORMED (PIN)] transport regulators, whose polar, subcellular localizations are influencing the directionality …more
