Bakalářská práce představuje ideál ženské krásy ve svém historickém vývoji od pravěku až po současnost, kdy je tento fenomén značně ovlivněn masovými médii. Přibližuje problematiku tělesného sebepojetí dívek, co a jak jej ovlivňuje a také jeho negativní důsledky. The Bachelor Thesis presents the development of feminine beauty ideal in historical context from the Primeval Ages to the present when this phenomenon has been considerably affected by mass media. The thesis discusses the issue of young women's self-concept of their own body, what it is affected by and how as well as the negative consequences of such self-concept.
