Women in Context of Work and Family Roles Harmonization. Motherhood and Careerism as Two Main Imperatives of Life of Modern Women.

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá tématem harmonizace pracovních a rodinných rolí v životě žen. Teoretická část práce okrajově shrnuje vývoj postavení ženy ve společnosti od pravěku po současnost. Dále se práce zabývá rozborem rolí ženy jako matky a jejím postavením na trhu práce. Další část představí ženu v roli kariéristky a její vztah k mateřství. Závěrečná část práce se zaměřuje na harmonizaci práce a rodiny v současnosti a na znevýhodnění žen na trhu práce.

Abstract:

This work deals the topic of harmonization of work and family roles in the lives of women. The theoretical part of the work marginally summarizes the development status of women from prehistoric times to the present. Furthermore, the work deals with the analysis of the roles of women as mothers and their position on the labour market. The next part introduces the woman in the role of careerist and her relationship to motherhood. The following part of the thesis focuses on the harmonisation of work and family in the present and to the disadvantages of women in the labour market.
