Suicide from the perspective of its consequences

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na sebevraždu z pohledu jejích možných důsledků a vlivů, které tento čin může mít jak pro aktéra, tak jeho okolí či společnost. V práci se budeme sebevraždou zabývat také z hlediska jejího použití jako nástroje k dosažení vytýčeného cíle. Nejprve je definován pojem sebevražda a je provedena jeho analýza. Poté je uveden přehled druhů sebevražd a představena typologie možných důsledků tohoto činu. Tato typologie je prezentována na konkrétních případech z historie. Každý z těchto případů je zhodnocen, zařazen do příslušné kategorie a je rozpracován onen širší důsledek, který s sebou přináší. V závěru práce je vyhodnoceno využití sebevraždy, jakožto možného nástroje k dosažení cíle.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on suicide in terms of its possible consequences and influences that this act may have for both the actor and his surroundings or society. In this work, we will also deal with suicide in terms of its use as a tool to achieve the set goal. First, the term suicide is defined and analyzed. An overview of the types of suicides is then given and a typology of the possible consequences of this act is presented. This typology is presented on specific cases from history. Each of these cases is evaluated, placed in the appropriate category, and the broader consequence that comes with it is developed. At the end of the thesis is evaluated the use of suicide as a possible tool to achieve the goal.
