Philosophical Foundations of Selected Czech Anti-Environmentalists

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce zkoumá filozofická východiska vybraných českých anti-environmentalistů, konkrétně ekonomů Mojmíra Hampla, Petra Macha a Marka Loužka. Pomocí kritické analýzy jejich textů se pokouší formulovat ontologická a hodnotová východiska autorů, ta následně porovnat mezi sebou a najít podobnosti. Cílem práce je také analyzovat problematické body jejich přístupů a zjistit, zda některé aspekty způsobu jejich uvažování splňují kritéria dogmatismu. Teoretické ukotvení práce se opírá o Popperovo demarkační kritérium vědy a Kuhnovu koncepci revolucí vědeckých paradigmat.

Abstract:

This bachelor´s thesis examines philosophical foundations of selected Czech anti-environmentalists such as the economists Mormir Hampl, Petr Mach and Marek Louzek. Through the critical analysis of their texts, the thesis attempts to articulate the authors´ ontological and value foundations, which are then consequently compared in order to find similarities. The aim of the thesis is also to analyze questionable points in their approaches and determine, whether some aspects of their ways of thinking meet criteria of dogmatism. The theoretical framework of the text is provided by Popper´s demarcation criterion and Kuhn´s concept of science paradigm revolution.
