House-Tree-Person test in diagnostics of depression disorder

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zaměřila na podrobnější výzkum kresebné projektivní metody House-Tree-Person test (H-T-P), která dosud nebyla v našich podmínkách podrobněji zkoumána a není dosud ani používána. V předchozích letech byly na toto téma napsané dvě diplomové práce (Nováková, 2004; Šmerodvá 2004). Cílem našeho výzkumu bylo zaměřit se na posouzení kreseb H-T-P testu a zjištění případných rozdílů mezi skupinou pacientů s depresí a skupinou nedepresivních respondentů. Výzkumný soubor se skládal ze dvou skupin mužů ve věku 30-55 let. V každé z uvedených skupin bylo 40 respondentů. Výzkumný soubor tedy celkem zahrnoval 80 respondentů. Hodnocení kreseb pacientů s depresí a kontrolní nedepresivní skupiny respondentů odhalilo mezi oběma skupinami mnoho rozdílů. K nejvýznamnějším obecným znakům kreseb pacientů s depresí patří roztřesené, črtané linie. V kresbách pacientů s depresí se dále častěji vyskytovaly následující specifické charakteristiky: nedostatek mnoha detailů, absence kouře a základny v kresbě domu. V kresbě stromu se jednalo o pokřivené, krátké a tlusté větve. Koruna stromu byla vzhledem ke kmeni častěji nakreslená menší. V kresbě postavy byla ústa častěji nakreslená neusmívající se a paže byly častěji nakresleny kratší. Pacienti s depresí také častěji kreslili postavu z profilu. Celá práce má rozsahu 169 stran, z toho 23 stran tvoří kap. Přílohy a 5 stran kap. Použitá literatura.

Abstract:

The thesis was focused on the more detailed research of drawing projective method House-Tree-Person test (H-T-P). This method hasnt been yet explored more minute and hasnt been used in our conditions yet. In previous years two theses were written by Nováková (2004) and Šmerdová (2004) on this topic. The aim of our research there was to direct on the appraisal of H-T-P tests drawings and on the detection of potential differences between the group of depressive patients and non-depressive participants. The exploratory specimen contained two groups of men at the age 30-55 years. Every group included 40 participants. The exploratory specimen as whole contained 80 men. The appraisal of depressive patientss drawings and non-depressive participatss drawings revealed many differences between these two groups. The most significant general signs of depressive patientss drawings there were shaky lines. Further, the following specific signs in drawings of the house were the most frequent: few details, absence of the smoking chimney and of the baseline of the house. Similarly, in drawings of the tree there were more offen noted deformed, short and thick branches. In regard of the trunk there was more offen found the tree-top drawn as smaller. In the drawings of a person there were more offen followed mouths without a smile and arms were shorter. The depressive patients more offen drew the person in profile. The thesis includes 169 pages, the chapter Appendix creates 23 pages and the chapter References has 5 pages.
