Efektivita přenosů dat v lokální síti

Data transfer efficiency in LANs
Abstract:
Tato práce se zabývá měřením propustnosti, jitteru a ztrátovosti paketů v lokální síti. Práce je primárně zaměřená na měření za použití přepínačů a posouzení jejich vlivu na přenos. První část práce popisuje základní parametry sítě a metodiku měření. V druhé části jsou popsaná autorem navržená měření s důrazem na kabelové sítě dle IEEE 802.3.
Abstract:
This thesis is devoted to throughput, jitter and packet loss in LAN. The thesis is primarily focused on measurements through switches and analyzing an impact on a transfer. In the first part, the thesis describes basic network parameters and measuring methodology. In the second part the measurements proposed by the author are described with emphasis on wired network according to IEEE 802.3.
