Cricket and the Commonwealth: England and India compared
Abstract:
The thesis describes the major milestones of the cricket development in the worldwith the focus on the Commonwealth countries specifically on India. It discovers what makes cricket such a popular game and how much of British colonialism there still is. It creates a survey discovering what Indian people think ybout cricket.

Práce popisuje hlavní milníky vývoje kriketu s důrazem na země Commonwealthu. Nastiňuje klíčové faktory vývoje kriketu v Indii a vytváří průzkum zjišťující indický přístup ke kriketu. Zaměřuje se zejména na vazby mezi kriketem a kolonialismem.
