Current State of the Level of English Pronunciation of Czech Businessmen

Abstract:

The thesis examines the current state and level of English pronunciation used by Czech businessmen working in travel agencies, banking, lodgings etc. The work describes the phonological systems of English variations and their comparisons to the Czech system. The aim of the thesis is to assess the current level of pronunciation of the businessmen and to suggest possible improvements.

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá aktuálním stavem anglické výslovnosti českých podnikatelů, podnikajících v cestovním ruchu, bankovnictví, hotelnictví, atd. Práce popisuje fonologické systémy zavedené v angličtině, a porovnává je s českým systémem. Cílem práce je nalezení aktuální úrovně výslovnosti podnikatelů a navržení řešení pro případné zlepšení situace.
