Contribution of activities from travel industry for regional development and reduction of interregionals disparities

Anotace:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou interregionálních disparit regionů a možnostmi jejich zmírňování či odstraňování aktivitami v oblasti cestovního ruchu. Interregionální disparity jsou v této diplomové práci pojaty jako rozdíly mezi regiony navzájem. Diplomová práce poměrně podrobně definuje základní teoretické vymezení regionálního členění České republiky a definování historických důvodů vzniku interregionálních disparit. Diplomová práce je rozdělena na tři základní oblasti: oblast definující regionální strukturu České republiky, oblast definující existující strategie a koncepce rozvoje regionů prostřednictvím cestovního ruchu na státní i privátní úrovni a oblast definující konkrétní nástroje, které jsou využívány pro zmírňování a odstraňování intereregionálních disparit v segmentu cestovního ruchu. Oblast definující regionální strukturu České republiky podrobně analyzuje regiony z geografického hlediska, z hlediska historického kontextu a z hlediska struktury státní správy, případně z hlediska rozdělení regionů Evropskou unií. Oblast definující existující strategie a koncepce rozvoje regionů na státní i privátní úrovni podrobněji analyzuje především existující koncepční dokumenty vztahující se ke zmírňování interregionálních disparit zpracované státními orgány České republiky a koncepční dokumenty zpracované privátními organizacemi pro zmírňování rozdílů mezi regiony. Oblast definující konkrétní nástroje, které jsou využívány pro zmírňování a odstraňování intereregionálních disparit, poměrně detailně analyzuje jednotlivé (zejména) ekonomické nástroje, jejichž prostřednictvím je realizován rozvoj regionů. Tato oblast definuje existující nástroje a hodnotí zejména jejich efektivnost a skutečný přínos pro zmírňování interregionálních disparit.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the problems of inter-regional disparity between regions and the possible solutions by activities in the field of tourism. In this diploma thesis, the inter-regional disparities are comprehended as differences between the regions themselves. The thesis outlines in detail the basic regional structure and division in the Czech Republic and end defines the historical reasons that let to contemporary inter-regional disparities. The diploma thesis is divided to three basic areas: an area defining the regional structure in the Czech Republic an, area defining the existing strategy and conception of regional development through the travel industry on both the state and private level and an area defining specific tools, that are used for reducing inter-regional disparities the in the travel industry. The area defining the regional structure in the Czech Republic in detail analyses the division of regions from a geographical standpoint, in light of a historical context and in light of state administration, and eventually in light of administrative division of regions by the European Union. The area defining the existing policy and strategy of regional development on state and private level in more detail analyses above all existing concepts that are supposed to reduce inter-regional disparities. The concepts are processed state bodies in Czech Republic and they are also processed by private organizations. The area defining the existing individual tools, that are used for reducing and erasing inter-regional disparities and quite in good detail analyses individual (especially) economic instruments, through which the development in regions is realized. This area of the thesis also defines the tools and evaluates especially their effectiveness and real contribution in reducing of inter-regional disparities.
