Readability of educational materials for women in menopause

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je teoreticko-výzkumnou prací, která se zabývá srozumitelností edukačních materiálů týkajících se období klimakteria. Na základě teoretických poznatků o didaktice ošetřovatelství a hodnocení obtížnosti textu byly ve výzkumné části prezentovány výsledky studie v této oblasti. Studie zjišťuje četnost výskytu edukačních materiálů a jejich srozumitelnost pomocí matematické analýzy Mistríkova vzorce a pomocí Poslechového testu provedeného u 34 respondentek. Dále zkoumá vztahy mezi provedenými metodami a mezi Poslechovým testem a respondentkami.

Abstract:

This master thesis is theoretically-research work that deals with the readability of educational materials related to menopause. Based on theoretical knowledge of nursing didactics of nursing and assessment of text difficulty the results of research study in this field were presented. The study determinates the frequency of incidence of educational materials and their understanding through mathematical analysis of Mistrík formula and through the Listening test which was performed with 34 female respondents. It also explores the relationships between the introduced methods and the Listening tests and the female respondent.
